that’s exactly how i felt after i saw it, like i had to reflect A LOT afterwards. but it was definitely a powerful story. wish they gave more (well anything) about his and his sister’s childhood.
I feel you, but I actually kind of like that we didn’t get their backstory, or a long denouement where one or both of them gives us that kind of exposition. I like that we have to fill in those gaps ourselves.

i can understand, but i’m just one of those people that always wants know the backstory of characters because i want to know why they are the way they are. but the exclusion of that does make me think about the possibilities more.
